A product does not become repairable when a service manual is written. By then, the enclosure, fasteners, cable paths, adhesives, and supplier choices have already settled most of the answer.

At Stillform, the repair plan starts beside the first bill of materials. We decide which parts will wear, how they can be reached, and what a replacement should cost before the industrial design is fixed.

Design the route in and out

Every Stillform product opens with standard tools. Load-bearing threads sit in metal inserts. Cables disconnect at the board. Batteries, power supplies, and high-cycle controls remain separate from parts intended to last for decades.

That architecture adds work early. It also prevents a worn cable or failed power board from turning the whole object into waste.
